Leadership & Management printed products now available
Skills for Care's new Leadership and Management products are now available.
The full range of products is as follows:
- an MIS workbook for new managers, The New Manager's Guide, which will be a print-only priced item like the CIS books, sold through www.skillsforcarepublications.org.uk at £17
- an MIS guide for the managers & mentors of new managers, The New Manager's Manager, which will also be a print-only £17 priced book
- a web version of the MIS guide which is available (see attachements below)
- a guide to L&M development for SMEs, also a print-only priced book to be sold at £5
- a free two-page summary of the SME guide, which will go on the web and be an emailable .pdf
- a revised L&M 'product 1' statement on 'What leaders and managers in social care do', which will go on the web, be an emailable pdf and we will also have some print copies

NEW! Train to Gain Leadership and Management Advisory Service |

Train to Gain are delighted to announce that following a successful tender bid, they are now able to offer Leadership and Management Development grant funding through the Leadership and Management Advisory Service (LMAS) within Train to Gain.
Grant Funding Up to £1000 for the cost of leadership and management activity is available to support owners/senior managers in eligible organisations. A further £500 on a matched funding basis, i.e. for an investment of £1,500, a grant of £1,000 will be awarded upon receipt of payment evidence (receipted invoice).
If the full funding is not taken up by the first beneficiary, then other managers can be included dependent upon the business needs and further PDPs being produced.
